most of you that know me, know i came back to california to tend to my friend/father dealing with cancer.
in jan 2003 the docs said it was in remission and everything was cool...i moved out and got on with life.
well this summer he was seeing the doctors again and kept talking about the time was coming near.
well it happened, he passed in his sleep...
terry ork
founded Ork Records in the 70's which signed bands like Television and richard hell
terry was the booking agent at CBGB's in the 70's
booking bands like talking heads and Blondie's first few gigs.
he did shitloads of drugs at the Factory with andy and his crew.
hes mention a lot in the the book "please kill me" the history of punk
he was working on his book called "i forged andy warhol"
he was a father to me

seems my friend gail and her cat Elvis made it to Texas be for the Ivan made landfall but it spared New Orleans.
must be all that voodoo there. and everyone in JAX seem fine....

9/11
the day my world changed.
there a lot of things im proud of in my life but one thing stands out,
serving in the US NAVY.
this entry is going to be about hiding behind values that some people don't have the balls to defend.
my reasons for being in the navy are my own, but it doesn't change the fact I did it.
right now in my life there are a few people that use the laws of the USA to hide behind and be a little bitches and have not earned it.
this is for you:
when was the last time you devoted 4 years of your life to something other then your pocketbook? when was the last time you endured living on a boat, working 12 hours a day shifts, 160 days straight?
ya never, like I thought.
so I hope everytime your greedy ass gets your sweaty palms on money, you see blood.
cause that's what I see, I see the blood of people who have died for our country. I see the blood of people I had breakfast with one morning, then hours latter I was watching their blood being washed from the inside of a helicopter on to the deck of an aircraft carrier and then in to the ocean, and then passed their body for 3 days, everytime I went to eat, 3 times a day cause their body was being stored in the same reefer when the milk was kept on the boat in the galley
so play all the little kid games all you want cause that's all you will ever know.
maybe one day when you grow up you will learn what ACCOUNTABILITY and RESPONSIBILITY are & learn that when you say your going to do something you do it (RESPONSIBILITY) and when someone calls you on it you accept it (ACCOUNTABILITY) instead of being a little kid, playing games.
